But from 2015 onward, despite the plethora of problems that would soon follow, the sequel trilogy would introduce several iconic newer legends for audiences of all ages to appreciate. Kylo Ren is possibly the best thing to come out of this era, alongside the breakout stardom of Adam Driver, prompting demand for any and all projects featuring the character to grow immensely. While this has also led to some infamous misses featuring the man formerly known as Ben Solo, there's plenty on the way. Confirmed as the third and final entry to Charle Soule's "Kylo Ren Trilogy", the upcoming release of Star Wars: The Fall of Kylo Ren aims to bridge the gap of The Last Jedi and The Rise of Skywalker. In what was the era where he reached the height of his potential as Supreme Leader of the First Order, this comic aims to explore an evil empire undermined by top officials as it releases its first issue on August 12, 2026. Featuring Soule's return alongside Will Sliney, the artist behind The Rise of Kylo Ren, this series will be the latest official release from Marvel chronicling some of the final untold chapters of one of the most volatile users of the Dark Side of the Force. Star Wars Returns In August With A New Kylo Ren Story Star Wars: The Fall of Kylo Ren is set to feature the iconic character following the assassination of First Order's former Supreme Leader Snoke in Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, after which Kylo took on the role for himself. But, with such a development getting in the way of Armitage Hux's own ambitions within the First Order, and Enric Pryde having loyalties of his own playing into the events of The Rise of Skywalker, Kylo would soon find opposition and efforts to undermine him from both fronts. While this is easily not the Kylo Ren return fans may be craving in the form of The Hunt for Ben Solo, it is in fact the character at the zenith of his potential under the moniker. Little else has been more broadly revealed for audiences just yet, beyond the return of Tava Ren in issue #2, but The Fall of Kylo Ren promises plenty of great moments for three villains, and what individually drives each of them, in the latest from Marvel's Star Wars comics. The Fall Of Kylo Ren Will See This Star Wars Villain At His Most Volatile Kylo Ren's character, from his script, to Adam Driver's performance, his costume, and even his props, is intended to convey the volatility of an unstable mind. From his violent tantrums in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, to the intentional bleeding and cracking of his kyber crystal, the symbolism of the man formerly known as Ben Solo and his fractured mind is not exactly lost. Complete with the noticeable red fracture marks of his repaired helmet, he represents a very different sort of character than his grandfather, Darth Vader, whose legacy he wished to live up to. This character, following all of these developments, will be on display in The Fall of Kylo Ren, although the cover art curiously omits the repaired helmet so far.
