Kyle Monangai returns to practice, questionable to play Sunday

Published November 6, 2026 03:33 PM Bears running back Kyle Monangai was on the practice field for the first time in a month on Friday. Monangai has missed the last four games with a toe injury he suffered while running for 146 yards and two touchdowns against the Jets in Week 4. He was a limited participant in practice and the Bears have listed him as questionable to face the Buccaneers on Sunday. The Bears have a bye in Week 10, so Monangai’s return to practice on Friday could prove to be a preview of what’s to come in Week 11. Defensive back Malik Muhammad (toe) and cornerback Tyrique Stevenson (thumb) are also listed as questionable. Left tackle Theo Benedet (shoulder), linebacker T.J. Edwards (personal), and defensive tackle Grady Jarrett (groin) do not have injury designations.
