Mark Pope made his arrival on Friday, staying from mid-morning to late-night through the final game set, joined by Mo Williams. Cody Fueger started in North Augusta, then shifted over to Rock Hill for the adidas 3SSB Championships. As for Mikhail McLean, he’s been locked in at Puma PRO16 down in Bryan, Texas, keeping a very close eye on five-star guard Reese Alston. What’s to come on Saturday? There will be more shaking and moving — we’re hearing on our end Pope may be popping over to Rock Hill in the morning before returning to Peach Jam later in the day. We’ll be monitoring his movement, along with the other coaches, while wrapping up interviews with all of Kentucky’s top targets in 2027, 2028 and 2029. Daughtry saw his scoring finally take a hit, but still managed to finish with a 19-point, 10-assist double-double, while adding four rebounds and two steals in the win with Pope in attendance.
