Kris Jenner’s mom Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon died July 16, The Kardashians star confirmed on social media. She was 91. “There are no words that could ever capture what she has meant to me or the heartbreak of having to say goodbye,” Kris wrote in her post, alongside a photo of her mom. “My mom was the heart of our family.” Indeed, the 70-year-old emphasized that MJ taught her “everything” she needed to know about caring for her and late Robert Kardashian’s kids Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Rob Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, as well as Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner—whom she shares with ex Caitlyn Jenner. “To love your family fiercely, to be kind, to show up for the people you love, and to never take a single moment together for granted,” Kris detailed. “She taught us that family is everything. She showed us how to love unconditionally and how to find joy in the little moments.” Despite her mom’s death, Kris emphasized that her family will continue to be shaped by MJ’s legacy. “Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort knowing that love like yours never truly leaves us,” she continued. “Your love will live on in our family, in our traditions, in every moment we are together, and in every life you touched.
