Kora Puckett – “In My Veins”

Kora Puckett, the Narrow Head guitarist who's also played with bands including the Berries, Sheer Mag, and Angel Du$t, is stepping out on his own. The Indiana-born, Los Angeles-based musician, who debuted with a three-song EP back in 2024, has officially signed to TODO Records, and he's announcing the news with a brand new single.While Puckett is mostly known for his work with bands on the harder end of the alt-rock spectrum, his solo stuff is country-tinged indie rock, a sound that's on full display on "In My Veins." Puckett says that the track "was the start of a new ethos for me with music - keep things loose and open, surround yourself with artists who you love that you can lean on."The accompanying music video from director Justice Vaughn Ott captures the song's easygoing charms with footage of Puckett wandering around Los Angeles, looking through records, playing with a dog, and strumming his guitar on a front porch.
