Lisa has to take action (Picture: ITV) Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is surrounded by people who want to support him in Coronation Street, but actually accepting that is something he is struggling to do. The character was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. In the initial aftermath, Kit faced hospital appointments all alone, unable to tell mum Bernie Winter-Alahan (Jane Hazlegrove) that he’s unwell. With his future uncertain, working as a detective provides Kit with a distraction – but what happens when that’s taken away from him? It will be a question that Kit has to answer soon, as DS Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) is forced to take action. At work, Kit cannot help but feel like a charity case when Lisa gives him a man’s pamper hamper. When Kit gets home, his mood doesn’t improve as he learns that Bernie and Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell) are discussing the BRCA gene again.
