KISS Announce Documentary End of the Road Chronicling Their Farewell Tour

KISS have announced a new documentary titled KISS: End of the Road set to premiere on November 19th at KISSOnline. The new film chronicles their most recent farewell tour, which concluded on December 2nd, 2023, including the challenges and emotions behind their final Madison Square Garden performance, as well as what comes next for the band in their digital avatar era. Paul Stanley said of the upcoming film, “The ‘End of The Road World Tour’ was the culmination of fifty years of touring to elevate the live concert experience for fans old and new. A defining moment in KISS history. The documentary takes everyone along with us to see and be a part of all the unseen moments that made this last tour one of the wildest, most memorable rides of our career. We can’t wait for the world to see it through our eyes for the very first time and relive the magic of these shows.” Gene Simmons added, “This documentary showcases the closing chapter of our touring career, back in NY where it all started for us. The Madison Square Garden shows were full of raw energy and the film gives an inside perspective for the very first time. We can’t wait for everyone to see it and experience the world of KISS in a way they’ve never seen before.” An exclusive sneak peek of KISS: End of the Road will be shown at KISS Kruise: Landlocked in Vegas, which takes place November 13th-15th. KISS: End of the Road director DJ Viola said, “What’s extraordinary about getting this close to KISS is discovering just how personal it all is. Behind the spectacle is a deeply felt responsibility to the KISS Army. This film follows them relentlessly refining the show, night after night, demanding everything of themselves to deliver what their fans deserve, right through the final emotional show.” Producer Leslie Greif remarked, “I’ve spent 30 years in the KISS universe, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you don’t just watch KISS, you experience them. This documentary captures the spectacle, the energy, and the extraordinary connection between the band and its fans during the final 50 shows leading to Madison Square Garden. It’s not a retelling of the KISS story. It’s a time capsule of one of rock’s most enduring bands, preserving a moment in history for fans who lived it and those discovering it for the first time.” A virtual ticket to view the film can be purchased at KISS’ website for $16.79.
