‘Kindest’ mum-of-two, 44, killed after being hit by car while riding bike is pictured as husband pays touching tribute

A MUM who was killed after being hit by a car while riding a bike has been pictured for the first time. Michelle Tiller, 44, was killed in a head-on collision with a car in Lindsay Avenue, Northampton, at around 8.25am on September 1. Her husband Robert has now written a moving tribute to his “best friend” and “greatest supporter”, describing her as the “kindest person you could ever hope to meet”. Sign up for The Sun newsletter Thank you! “She was a wonderful mother who loved her two sons with all her heart,” he said. “If anything, she could be a little softer than me when it came to the boys, but that’s mums for you, isn’t it? “Her love, kindness and understanding made her the centre of our family. “Michelle loved any excuse to have a sing and a dance. Rhythm may not have been her strongest talent, but that never stopped her. “She threw herself into everything with enthusiasm, bringing laughter and happiness wherever she went.” He said that Michelle had “stepped up” fourteen years ago when his disabilities became more challenging, while continually caring for others without complaint. Most read in The Sun “We should have had many more years together,” he added. “Michelle always dreamed that one day we would be that old couple, walking hand in hand down the street. “I only wish we had been given the chance to grow old together and share those extra years she so wished for. “She was deeply loved, she will be deeply missed, and we will speak of her every day to remind ourselves of how lucky we were to be the ones she loved.” She leaves behind their two children – Riley and Cameron – as well as Mum Glennis, Dad Jim and sisters Maxine and Natalie. Cops are appealing to anyone with information about the collision to get in touch. They added that an 80-year-old man from Northampton had been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and released on bail pending further enquiries.
