Kiara Advani’s latest look for the promotion of her upcoming film Toxic - A Fairy Tale For Grown Ups, starring Yash, is one of those.Dressed in a custom Manish Malhotra creation, the actor draped a black velvet saree that low-key served gothic vibes, but was mostly just ravishing. The velvet gave the drape a rich, almost liquid finish, while the all-black palette kept the look sleek, dramatic and undeniably striking. We are definitely bookmarking it for the wedding season! Instead of pairing the saree with a conventional blouse, the new mama opted for a sheer lace blouse featuring a dramatic keyhole cut-out at the neckline. The delicate lace sleeves added a gothic yet romantic touch, while the bold cut-out detail gave the look an effortlessly daring edge. The emerald green stones added a jewel-toned pop, while the glimmered bright against the intense black velvet. More importantly, the necklace sat right at the high neckline of the blouse, making the jewellery feel like part of the outfit rather than something simply added on at the end. Now, for the rest of her look, she kept it minimal. Her hair was pulled into a neat bun, leaving her neck and earrings on display. Her makeup was equally unfussy — defined eyes, softly flushed cheeks and a muted lip that let the outfit remain the star.What made this look particularly interesting was that it did not try too hard. There were no sequins fighting for attention, no pile-on of accessories and no complicated colour story.
