KFC is launching a wine bar and yes, there’ll be Chicken Wine

From August 28 to August 31, Coq au Vin will serve up finger-lickin’ fried chicken alongside French ‘chicken wine’ — in what can only be described as chicken-ception. KFC claimed the pop-up, at Kachette Annex in Shoreditch, boasts a menu that’ll ‘challenge everything you thought you knew about wine pairings’, combining tenders with rosé and hot wings with red. And although these may not be traditional sommelier suggestions, the combination of bottles and buckets is likely to prove popular among fans.
