Key Coronation Street exit set in motion as show favourite receives big news

Lately, the character has been feeling a little bit stuck in Weatherfield. She works at the café with her uncle Roy Cropper (David Neilson), often hangs out with the likes of Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) and Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey), but Nina reached the conclusion recently that she wanted more from her life. After attending an interview at an art gallery in Whitby, Nina told Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) and Roy in today’s episode that she isn’t sure if she did particularly well. Later that day, Nina and Asha were in the Rovers when Nina received a message on her phone. Sensing that it was from the art gallery, Nina couldn’t bring herself to discover her fate, so Asha did it for her. A new adventure waits for Nina, but how will Roy adapt to not having her around? Nina was introduced to us in 2019 after Roy learned that he had a long-lost brother named Richard and a niece named Nina who he knew nothing about.
