Workers say they have repeatedly lacked the necessary supplies to ensure public safety, like being instructed to clean washrooms without cleaning products and using water alone. The janitors are concerned about their health as well as those of TransLink riders.A retendering process by TransLink resulted in the cleaning services being taken over by Dexterra Group on February 1, 2026.
