But thanks to our tiny (but mighty) team, and all my colleagues who have busted their butts, News Zone has grown into something we are super proud of. “The show is totally unscripted. So you never know what’ll happen! (Double gulp) “But you’ll definitely get a peek behind the curtain, as we chase down the biggest or most interesting stories in real-time. “I’ll be your captain and I hope you’ll join us for the ride!” News Zone is a live-TV program hosted by NBC 4 New York veteran journalist Adam covering the latest breaking news in the New York area and the U.S. at large. The Kelly Clarkson Show ended on August 31 with an extended Kelly-oke karaoke segment and cameos from the host’s kids River, 12, and Remington, 10. She claimed she ended the show to make more time for her children, who suffered from the loss of their dad, Kelly’s ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, in August 2025. “Stepping away from the daily schedule will allow me to prioritize my kids, which feels necessary and right for this chapter of our lives,” she explained in a February statement. As The U.S. Sun exclusively reported, both Pink and Olympic skater besties Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir have been in talks with NBC to snag their own talk show after Kelly’s end.
