Published September 3, 2026 03:05 PM Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen met with the media on Thursday for the first time since he was arrested early on Sunday morning. Allen faces misdemeanor charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (OVWI) and OVWI endangering a person after police found Allen showing signs of intoxication when they approached him in a car parked in a no parking area. He was released from jail later in the day and said on Thursday that his mind is on being “a good football player and ready for the season.”“Because it’s an ongoing legal matter, we’re not going to discuss it,” Allen said, via WISH. “Like I said, just focused on football and being a good teammate.”The Colts have said Allen will play Week 1 and that any team-issued discipline will be kept in-house.
