The prospect of bringing Wick back believably, then telling more stories with him before eventually ending the series once again down the line is a giant risk that may not work out. Especially following the box office disappointment of Ballerina, it is good that Reeves is doing other things. The actor has fantastic charisma, and approaching different kinds of projects through the decades has helped to keep him such a consistently important figure in Hollywood. Whether or not John Wick: Chapter 5 works, it is exciting that Reeves is bringing his star power to features like Shiver. The upcoming shark time-travel movie sounds like a lot of fun, and could wind up being one of 2027's biggest and best hits.
