Some rival fans thought he was teasing the travelling Tottenham fans. But Lewis-Potter cleared it up during his interview with Sky Sports and said he was trolling a friend who was watching from Spurs end. He said: “I am surprised and suffering from this defeat. They deserved to win and we played very bad. “I am sorry for this defeat. I know we have to improve in our physical condition, in the organisation. “There were many new players but it was the first game. It’s part of our journey. “With a lot of new players, we knew we needed soul and style of play to become a team.
