Kaye Adams to return to airwaves following departure from BBC Radio Scotland

Kaye Adams will make her return to radio on October 4 after she was taken off BBC Radio Scotland last year reportedly due to allegations about her behaviour.The Loose Women star, 63, will co-host a one-off Sunday Brunch show with fellow broadcaster Shereen Nanjiani from 9am to 12pm on STV Radio.The pair will play some of their favourite songs during the show and discuss the stories behind what makes them so special.The programme will be Adams’s first significant radio appearance since her departure from BBC Radio Scotland, where she spent 15 years hosting the flagship morning programme.The programme will be Adams’s first significant radio appearance since her departure from BBC Radio Scotland (Ian West/PA)PA ArchiveAdams addressed a number of the accusations in a statement shared on Instagram, denying she had berated an intern or used a misogynistic slur.She said: “I categorically deny using a misogynistic slur 14 years ago and I’m horrified at its invention more than a decade later.
