Katy Perry Doesn’t Want Her Daughter Daisy to Do THIS When She's Older

Katy Perry put her foot down after her and ex Orlando Bloom's 6-year-old daughter Daisy expressed hope of living out this famous lyric of her mom's when she's older: "No, you ain't, girl!"ByAug 28, 2026 8:26 PM| Updated 23 minutes agoTagsKaty Perry Doesn’t Want Her Daughter Daisy Dove to Do THIS When She's OlderIn another life, Katy Perry might let her daughter Daisy Dove get away with breaking the rules. But, for now, the singer has put her foot down on the 6-year-old—with whom she shares with ex Orlando Bloom—living out the lyrics to her hit 2010 smash single "The One That Got Away." "The other day, she was singing along to, 'Stole your parents' liquor and climb to the roof,'" Perry shared in an Entertainment Tonight interview published Aug. 27. "She's like, 'One day, when I'm older, I'm going to do that.'" Needless to say, the 41-year-old quickly shot that idea down. "No, you ain't, girl!" Perry recalled telling her daughter. “Our roof is too high!" And she's not surprised that her little one is becoming quite the daredevil. As Perry explained, "She is straightforward, has no fear. She is both Orlando and myself." That's why the former American Idol judge is relishing all the childhood magic in Daisy's life at the moment. In fact, she recently got a kick out of her daughter's reaction to losing her front teeth."When she lost her first one, she really wanted orange Tic Tacs—just like her mom," Perry recounted. "So, the tooth fairy brought her a cute little bag of orange Tic Tacs and said, 'This is the perfect little slot to put it in.'" "She was so excited," she continued. "I'd slide it through there and she'd be so happy."Anthony Harvey/Shutterstock for IOMTV MaltaBut the sweet treats aren't the only gifts Perry has for Daisy, who recently celebrated her birthday with a family trip to Legoland California Resort. The "Teenage Dream" artist has also set aside many of her concert costumes over the years for her daughter to wear when she's older. "She has more than enough," Perry assured. "Her cousins have enough. Everybody has enough."
