I am sick of it. It is over.” A source added: “The marriage is done. She will never go to Dubai to see Lee again. “It was, of course, an accumulation of many things but the final straw came after Lee had told Katie he had $50million (£37million) in a crypto wallet, and promised her some of the funds. “He gave her the ‘recovery phrase’ — the passkey — to get into his account, and on Monday she had a financial expert access the wallet — and, to her shock, discovered it contained just $3, or £2.22. The most he ever had on any one day was in March for $14,490 (£10,720) which was sent out the very same day. “Obviously over the past few months Kate has seen all the damning evidence building up against him — and was always planning her exit once the white noise became unavoidable. “But after seeing his accounts — as opposed to his AI mock-ups — she lost her s***. “He has deeply embarrassed her and, more importantly, has scammed, hurt and cheated so many other women. Enough is enough.” Self-proclaimed multi-millionaire “businessman” Lee, 43, is currently holed up in the UAE’s notorious Al Awir prison. It is understood he is trying to drum up the funds to pay the fine for his release, but is struggling to do so. He still maintains his ­innocence. The couple’s initial ­service in January was legally non-binding, but on February 17 they officially registered their union at Abu Dhabi’s judicial department, presided over by a judge. A source added: “Naturally Katie is worried Lee might try to get her money, or take half her ­earnings over the next 12 months. “She does not want to be his next con, and is hoping they can split amicably. It seems unlikely they will stay in touch.” Since going public with their whirlwind romance, the couple have been subject to numerous unsavoury headlines concerning Lee’s shady past. The “tycoon”, who proposed to mum-of-five Katie within ten days of meeting, stands accused of conning numerous women, and at least one man. He denies all the allegations. Embarrassingly, shortly after proposing to the four-times married star, The Sun revealed he had proposed in identical fashion — with rose petals, fluffy white bathrobes and a spa day — to his ex-fiancée, Alana Percival just a few months previously. By sharing her own experiences — Hertfordshire Police and Interpol are allegedly investigating him over historic allegations — she encouraged others to come forward with their own horror stories. Since then American Crystal Janke, who Lee never met but declared his love for, claims she lost £123,000 investing into one of his dodgy schemes. And in May The Sun printed its dossier detailing how Lee scammed £1,000, plus his elaborate AI-heavy modus operandi. Meanwhile, another ex Dina Taji is said to have had a £200,000 mortgage in her name forged by Lee shortly after the pair tied the knot. He is said to have served a jail sentence for this last October and, as a result, has a travel ban. Earlier this year Lee left Katie embarrassed on the Good Morning Britain sofa after promising to join her for the pair’s first joint interview. She was forced to go on air alone after he failed to show. Conman Lee has been caught out telling several increasingly embarrassing lies. As well as claiming he has a diplomatic passport — which, if true, would allow him to circumnavigate a travel ban — he stated he had an engineering PhD from Cambridge. This is despite the fact the university insist there is no record of him on their books. He also boasted of buying Chelsea FC, when it was just one share. And he bragged of working with both Kim Kardashian and mega-rich Elon Musk. Neither has ever met Lee, and instead, it transpired, he used AI photos to pretend to be networking with them. After The Sun tracked Lee down in prison, he told his wife he had been arrested on suspicion of espionage. It was, instead, to do with outstanding fees on a car rental. For the past eight weeks Lee has been in Al Awir prison, facing three civil cases. According to pals he has been calling Katie daily, promising he will be out the very next day. A source added: “She is so unbelievably bored with his lies. “She tried to give Lee the benefit of the doubt when all these women came forward, and she did, unquestionably, really fancy him. “He initially had an answer for everything, and wormed his way back into her affections. “But Katie has been in regular contact with Lee’s family and, crucially, his exes. They have repeatedly told her the truth and been increasingly frustrated by her apparent refusal to take notice and dump him. “Katie has always made it clear she’s not thick. “She has all the receipts — the screenshots, voice notes and the AI fakery.
