Kat and Cindy’s almighty clash in EastEnders amid guilt over Zoe revelation

Viewers will recall that Zoe suffered a head injury during a dispute with the man selling Charlie Slater’s cab, which later resulted in her death. It recently transpired that the last person to see Zoe alive was none other than Max Branning (Jake Wood). Sensing something was wrong, Zoe begged him to stay with her, but, believing she was drunk, Max left her alone. After learning that Zoe had placed a desperate 999 call before her death, during which she could be heard saying ‘he left me’, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) has been on a mission to find out who left Zoe in her time of need. Now, as Zoe’s funeral approaches, Kat finds herself lashing out as she struggles to deal with her grief, while the rest of the family have problems of their own to deal with. Meanwhile, Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) struggles with her eulogy and turns to Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) for help. The next day, Jasmine steps in to help Jean when a customer at The Albert causes trouble, and her actions spark a conversation among the Slaters comparing Jasmine to Zoe.
