Karlie Kloss Details "Biggest Shift" in Her Motherhood Journey

Karlie Kloss Gives Birth, Welcomes Baby No. 3 With Husband Joshua KushnerKarlie Kloss is modeling growth. In the years since she and husband Joshua Kushner welcomed three children—including sons Levi, 5, and Elijah, 3, as well as 10-month-old daughter Rae—Karlie’s reflected on how motherhood has changed her “in so many ways.” “One of the biggest shifts has been realizing that motherhood isn’t about getting everything ‘right,’” she continued in her July 30 Instagram post. “It’s about finding what works for your family and learning to trust yourself along the way.” Which is why the 33-year-old has mastered strutting one foot in front of the other, even when she stumbles. “Somewhere between my first and third baby,” Kloss continued, “I stopped searching for perfect answers and started embracing a world of and instead of or.” And she wouldn’t have it any other way, adding, “Looking back on these moments, I’m filled with gratitude for every season, every lesson, and for three happy, thriving kids.” Accompanying the heartfelt caption was a carousel of images of Kloss throughout her motherhood journey, including an ultrasound of one of her children, another of her snuggling one of her babies close as well as many of her children together. She also shared a look at the realities of being a working mom, with one snap showing the model pumping breast milk in an airplane bathroom and another showing her baby sleeping peacefully alongside a yoga mat as Kloss snuck in a workout. While both Kloss and Kushner have refrained from sharing their children’s faces with the world, Kloss does share the occasional glimpse into their life as a family of five on social media.
