Karishma Tanna reveals son's name on Janmashtami, shares sacred meaning behind it

The couple, who welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on July 29, introduced him as Ved Tanna Bangera.Sharing a note on Instagram as their son turned one month old, the couple wrote, “On the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami, with Kanha's blessings, we lovingly introduce our little miracle VED TANNA BANGERA (sic).” They also shared the meaning of the name, saying it stands for “sacred knowledge, wisdom and light”, with a deeper meaning rooted in enlightenment and learning.Among those who reacted to the post was Dalljiet Kaur, who wrote, “Ved, you are blessed already to be born in Tanna and Bangera family. We love you so much. You are a GURUPURNIMA born, cant wait to see the beautiful soul journey ahead. Loads of blessing from ur Maasi and Jaydon (sic).”Actor Aditya Seal commented with heart emojis, while his actor-wife Anushka Ranjan shared heart and evil-eye emojis in the comments section. Actor Bhumi Pednekar also shared a heart emoji in the comment. Karishma and Varun had announced in April that they were expecting their first child. At the time, they shared a series of photographs from their maternity shoot on Instagram. In those pictures, the couple were seen wearing baseball caps with the words “Mom” and “Dad”.The couple became parents to a baby boy on July 29, 2026.
