The two will feature in the fourth episode of the season, marking their return to the couch as a couple after more than a decade.The couple last appeared together on Koffee With Karan in Season 3, back in 2010. Their upcoming appearance will also be their second joint outing on a chat show recently, following their appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 5.The teaser opens with Kareena taking a playful dig at Karan and expressing her relief that the show is nearing its final season. “I'm happy and relieved,” she says, adding, “We don't have to keep coming on Koffee With Karan.”Karan is quick with a comeback, telling her, “Thank you for showing your sensitivity towards the last season of the show.” Saif, meanwhile, interrupts the exchange between the two friends to declare that he feels he is a “miscast” on the show.The playful banter continues when Karan asks Kareena to name the No. 1 actor among the current crop of stars. While Kareena's answer may not come as a surprise, Saif has a cheeky response ready. “You are allowed to praise other actors as well,” he tells his wife. The couple also gets into the gaming round, where they are asked to name actors whose names begin with the letter K. They then shift their silly banter to other topics.On September 30, Karan Johar announced that Koffee With Karan would return for its final season, sharing an emotional video reflecting on his 22-year association with the chat show. He recalled how his father, producer Yash Johar, had initially doubted the idea when Karan pitched it in 2004.Looking back at the many moments and controversies the show has sparked over the years, Karan said, “I called lovers, friends, family, lovers who went on to become ex-lovers; some of them even got married. I nearly put an end to the careers of national icons; I am living with the word nepotism even today. Conjecture became a kind of national word; so much happened.”The new episode of the show drops every Wednesday at 7:30 pm on JioHotstar.- Ends
