Kamala Harris has stern warning for Dems if they win midterms: ‘Not a good idea’

And when I say we should be ruthless, I don’t mean cruel, but we should be uncompromising.”The Dem-led House impeached Trump twice during his first term in the White House. Both times the GOP-controlled Senate voted against convicting the president. A simple majority vote is needed for impeachment in the House while a two-thirds vote is required for conviction in the Senate, according to Senate.gov.While some Dems have talked about impeaching Trump for a third time, others in the party have spoken against the possibility. Trump at campaign rallies has claimed that the Dems will definitely impeach him a third time if they take control of the House. The Dems have already announced that there will be sweeping investigations of Trump, his family members and his administration if they regain power in Congress. Dems are also looking at impeaching Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth. Harris lost the 2024 presidential election to Trump and is considering another White House run in 2028.
