Its sheer organza pallu added a light, airy touch to the richly detailed drape. The Red Malar saree, priced at Rs 88,500, takes inspiration from classic Athangudi tiles. The name ‘Malar’ means flower in Tamil. The saree features zari, dabka and bead embroidery, with floral bouquets worked into the pattern. It combines khadi silk patlis with a soft organza pallu. How Kajol styled her sareeKajol paired the saree with traditional jewellery, including a statement choker necklace and matching earrings. She kept her makeup simple, with defined eyes, a warm lip shade and a bindi. Her hair was pulled back, keeping the focus on her jewellery and saree. The saree is part of Anavila’s Payanam collection.
