For every high-concept series like Severance and big budget video game adaptation such as The Last of Us and Fallout, there are shows that would look right at home on broadcast networks or perhaps on a cable channel, like with FX's Justified. The Pitt is the go-to example for a streaming series that would be right at home on a broadcast network. Another strong choice for a solid throwback is Blue Ridge: The Series, which is a direct continuation of the 2020 movie of the same name, and centers on a sheriff of a small mountain town. It's been finding new viewers on Prime Video despite no official word on its future. Blue Ridge: The Series Is Climbing Prime Video's Top 10 Blue Ridge: The Series is climbing higher and higher on Prime Video, where it was available to stream for subscribers. In the U.S., the drama has been steadily working its way through the Top 10 over the past week. It debuted at #7 on Prime Video's Top 10 shows list, occassionally appearing at #6. As of this writing, it's back where it started but looks to be holding strong and gaining comparisons to Yellowstone.
