‘Jury’s still out’ – Paul Scholes questions Man Utd star’s ability with Red Devils on verge of setting unwanted record

PAUL SCHOLES believes the “jury’s still out” on Senne Lammens as Manchester United close in on an unwanted Premier League record. He added: “Lammens might be that, I don’t know. I think the jury’s probably still out on that.” Scholes believes building a title-winning side must start with having an elite stopper behind the defence. He said: “You need a top-class goalkeeper. “You think of Liverpool’s team with Alisson, City’s teams with… Raya at Arsenal, Man United with Peter Schmeichel and Edwin van der Sar. “They’ve all got brilliant, brilliant goalkeepers. Defeat against Fulham in their fifth league game would leave them on four points. It would be worse than the five points Louis van Gaal collected from his opening five in 2014-15, currently United’s poorest Premier League start at that stage. Comment now
