Julien Baker Announces 2026 Club Residency Tour

Julien Baker has announced a new 2026 residency-style tour taking place at six rock clubs across the US. Rather than a traditional multi-date outing, Baker will perform three-night runs in six different cities. She’ll start at Salt Lake City’s Kilby Court from October 15th-17th, followed by Cambridge, Massachusetts’ The Middle East from October 21st-23rd. The run continues with Carrboro, North Carolina’s Cat’s Cradle on October 28th-30th, Athens, Georgia’s 40 Watt on November 5th-7th, and Lawrence, Kansas’ Bottleneck on November 12th-14th. See box office details on Baker’s official website. A portion of the proceeds from this tour will go to The Ally Coalition (TAC) and their work supporting LGBTQ youth across the country. The tour announcement follows Baker’s surprise show at Nashville’s The Blue Room on Wednesday, September 9th; in addition to fan-favorites like “Hardline,” “Turn Out the Lights,” and “Tokyo,” she gave live debuts to four unreleased tracks during the show. She’ll be joined on tour by her longtime collaborators Matt Gilman and Calvin Lauber. Baker’s last solo album was 2021’s Little Oblivions. Since then, she regrouped with her band boygenius for 2023’s the record and the rest and released the collaborative alt-country record Send a Prayer My Way with TORRES in 2025. Baker also appeared on Turnstile’s new remix album NEVER ENOUGH: VERSIONS, providing a take on the band’s song “TIME IS HAPPENING” with Mustafa.
