And he has quickly identified his four ‘untouchables’ – with the former Liverpool defender notably absent. According to Spanish outlet AS, they include Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and new £120million signing Yan Diomande – with the four of them set to form a monstrous attack. Alexander-Arnold was pinched from boyhood club Liverpool for free last summer with the defender seemingly set to be a big star for Los Blancos. But he is already at risk of being replaced following the arrival of Denzel Dumfries from Inter. Trent could also function in midfield, but the addition of free agent Bernardo Silva from Manchester City blocks his path there too.
