Jordan said no evacuation of Aqaba airport or seaport after US warning

Jordan denied reports that Aqaba airport and seaport had been evacuated after the US embassy warned Americans of a “credible threat”. Jordanian government spokesman Mohammad al-Momani told the Petra news agency that “relevant authorities have not issued any evacuation orders at the Aqaba airport or seaport”. Momani said authorities had not recorded any potential threats to Aqaba over the previous several hours. Both the airport and seaport were operating normally, he added.
