John Goodman Joins Claire Danes In Season 2 Of ‘The Beast In Me’

Skip to main content John Goodman Courtesy John Goodman (Righteous Gemstones, Digger) is set to star opposite Claire Danes in the upcoming second season of Netflix’s psychological crime thriller The Beast In Me. The streamer is yet to confirm plot details about Season 2 of The Beast In Me, in which Danes is reprising her role as author Aggie Wiggs. Goodman will play Aggie’s dad, believed to be a long-time con artist. Season 1 writers/executive producers Howard Gordon and Daniel Pearle are back as co-showrunners. The two are executive producing Season 2 with Danes, series creator Gabe Rotter and fellow Season 1 executive producers Antonio Campos, who directed half of the S1 episodes, Caroline Baron, Amy Lippman, Gabe Rotter, Conan O’Brien, David Kissinger, Jeff Ross and Jodie Foster. 20th Television is the studio. Goodman is coming off starring roles on ABC’s The Conners and HBO’s The Righteous Gemstones and as a lead opposite Tom Cruise in the movie Digger. He will next be seen in Season 3 of HBO’s The Last Of Us. Goodman is repped by Gersh and Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz.
