Jodie’s downfall confirmed in Coronation Street as her trinket box destroys her

Jodie Ramsey’s (Olivia Frances-Brown) trinket box that contains stolen items from Coronation Street residents has disappeared from her bag. The complex character takes great pleasure in making other people’s lives a misery. As well as meddling in David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) and Shona Platt’s (Julia Goulding) relationship, Jodie has also caused problems for the likes of Bernie Winter-Alahan (Jane Hazlegrove), Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) and Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft Gardner). It seems that Jodie carries the trinket box around to fill it with trophies from her victims. So far, we know it contains a picture of Bernie, a book from Brian, Lisa Connor-Swain’s (Vicky Myers) warrant card, and a gun. Jodie has told her dad that she’s been secretly seeing David, and that they intend to tell Shona how they feel about each other after her birthday. To prevent Doug from going to Shona about her comments, Jodie messed with his mental health medication. As a result of Doug not taking the correct dosage, he was behaving erratically in today’s episode. Paranoid Doug left the house and headed to his campervan. When Jodie was at home later that day, she realised that her trinket box was missing. In Doug’s van, we saw him checking through various items and in the background was Jodie’s stolen box. Doug was distressed and panicked, and failed to open the trinket box.
