Tears are shed on the cobbles next week (Picture: ITV / Metro) There’s another busy week ahead in Coronation Street next week as the fallout of recent events continues. There is concern for Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) as news spreads that she was pushed down the stairs, and it’s clear that culprit Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) is feeling guilty. Elsewhere, the investigation into Rachel Parkinson’s death continues and, following the revelation that she was her biological mother, Christina Boyd (Amy Robbins) is desperate for answers. Meanwhile, Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown) has David Platt (Jack P Shepherd) in her sights as her scheming continues. They reveal that Eva has had an accident and that they’re going to visit her in hospital. When Nick promises to help find Sam’s phone, Sam tells him it’s not important, and to focus on Eva. Will Sam’s involvement in Eva’s accident stay secret, or will the truth come out?
