Another local said it was the 'worst-kept secret on the marina'.Samsara has seven cabins, accommodating up to 14 guests, along with a private cinema and a 'tranquil beach club'.Ms Rowling, 61, first faced widespread backlash for her defence of biological women's rights in 2020 when she expressed her 'deep concerns' about transgender activism in an essay.Among those who spoke out were Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, the child actors she made famous by casting them in her Harry Potter film franchise.Ms Rowling celebrated on the deck of the Samsara last year when the Supreme Court ruled that the definition of a woman is based on biological sex in a landmark judgment. She acted after a health trust said trans women can continue to use female wards, toilets, showers and changing rooms. The superyacht was originally commissioned for LA businessman Eric Smidt, the billionaire who founded Harbor Freight Tools.The vessel was then sold to Australian billionaire Brett Blundy in 2022 before Ms Rowling became the owner.
