Jimothy The Raccoon Heads To The MTG Arena Store As Part Of A New Bundle

MTG Arena Gets Strangest Bundle Yet As Jimothy Joins The Game Published Jul 31, 2026, 6:26 PM EDT Niall (pronounced Ny-ul) is a UK-based writer who has been writing about Magic: The Gathering throughout his entire career, with everything from new set breakdowns and individual deck guides to offering his opinions on the state of formats and the general direction of the iconic TCG. Niall also has a rich history covering triple-A releases, sports games, and PC hardware. In one of the strangest Magic: The Gathering Universes Beyond crossovers yet, we officially have pop culture icon Jimothy the Raccoon in the game. Okay, I kid, of course. This obviously isn't another UB crossover. However, I'm sure some Redditor is out there trying to make a genuine case for Jimothy being a better fit for Magic than Captain America or Captain Kirk, just saying. This online sensation from Seattle is fairly local to the Wizards office in Renton, Washington, so it felt right to honor the little guy by adding him to the game as a brand-new emote sticker alongside his very own card sleeve. The Jimothy bundle contains an emote sticker designed to look like the Seattle native, as well as the Prosperous Bandit card sleeve. It costs 360 Arena Gems or 1,750 coins. While Wizards of the Coast has made a $10,000 donation to local animal charity PAWS, no proceeds from the bundle go toward charity; this is very much just for the fun of owning a Jimothy emote sticker. The Prosperous Bandit card sleeve is artwork from the Bloomburrow card of the same name. The bundle is listed as a limited-time offer, and there's no timer on it in the store, so if you're interested in buying it for your MTG Arena account, it's best to act quickly, or it may disappear for good at any time. The Loving Cause Behind The Bundle While the Jimothy bundle is all in the name of good fun, it's worth highlighting the cause that Wizards of the Coast is supporting with this effort. PAWS is a charity that works to rehabilitate injured and orphaned wildlife as well as shelter and rehome cats and dogs. Ever since the lockdowns back in the early part of the decade, it's been more important than ever to consider rehoming dogs rather than purchasing them. Too many animals were bought on a whim during lockdowns around the world, and when society slowly started to return to normal, these animals found themselves without the care they desperately needed. In many cases, the owners did the right thing and took the animal to a shelter like PAWS, but it was all too common for animals to be abandoned instead, especially when local shelters were already at capacity. If you're considering bringing a pet into your home and family, choose adoption above all else to give a pet the love and care it deserves.
