LIONESSES icon Jill Scott has joined Salford City as chief advisor to the women’s team. The former I’m A Celeb winner is a regular on the Stick to Football podcast with Neville, who she will now link up with at Salford. The club say Scott will “play a key role in shaping the technical programme for the Salford City Lionesses and Academy teams while supporting the development of players and coaching staff.” United’s former shirt sponsors, the insurance giants AIG, have also become part of the Salford set-up as the largest minority equity investor in the Lionesses. The women’s team was formed in 2018 and currently plays in tier five of the women’s football pyramid.
