Jharkhand students vs govt over paper leaks. Who will blink first? Panels discusses

The student agitation in Jharkhand over alleged examination irregularities in JSSC and JPSC has entered its third week without resolution. Following the Vidhan Sabha Gherao on August 10th, where police deployed lathi charges and water cannons, security around Chief Minister Hemant Soren's residence has been fortified with barricades, drones, and additional personnel. Protesting students, including Devendra Mahto and Manoj Yadav, have threatened to lay siege to the Chief Minister's residence after August 15th. The students are demanding the cancellation of exams conducted under TDPL, cancellation of JSSC and JPSC exams, and a time-bound CBI probe. Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered against 100 named individuals and 500 unidentified protesters. During the broadcast, JMM spokesperson Dheeraj Dubey stated the government is willing to conduct a 90-day CID probe and judicial inquiry. BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdeo criticized the police crackdown and the application of BNS attempt to murder sections against students, while Congress spokesperson Saral Patel defended the government's stance.
