Jeremy Clarkson reveals Kaleb Cooper ‘isn’t talking to him’ after latest farming blunder

JEREMY Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper are no strangers to having a squabble or two on Diddly Squat Farm – and now they’re on the outs again. The Clarkson’s Farm duo are beloved on the Prime Video series for their dynamic, with long-standing farmer Kaleb, 28, often having to reel Jeremy, 66, in from frivolous spending on expensive machinery or ideas to expand their crops and business. His most recent ideas include farming “vicious” rabbits that left him bleeding, and planting flax in a bid to make linen, only to discover after planting a field’s worth it had to be harvested by hand. Sign up for the Showbiz newsletter Thank you! “Kaleb […] is not talking to me,” he wrote in his Sunday Times column last week. “He says I’ve got to stop coming up with harebrained schemes without thinking them through. “And points out that as there’s no way in hell we will be able to collect everything we grew, the vast majority will just sit there, being s**t on by dogs until it has decomposed. At the beginning of August, he shared that his harvest was “already f***ed” as temperatures continued to soar. Most read in TV The fifth season of the series, which aired in June this year, revealed the broadcaster and Sun columnist had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and would be getting treatment off-screen. He shared his diagnosis to Kaleb and accountant “Cheerful” Charlie on-camera, with both looking visibly upset at the news. Thankfully, he seems to be on the mend, and just last week he shared his frustration at discovering his lambs – who were in a field surrounded by an electric fence – had managed to escape. Last month, Jeremy wrote in The Sun: “Some jobs on the farm are unpleasant. Sexing rabbits is annoyingly difficult, and disposing of dead piglets is heartbreaking. “But I’ve been harvesting all week, and this job is an absolute joy. “I boing out of bed before dawn, knowing the moisture in the crops will be dead right, and then, from the ­tractor’s lofty seat, I watch the sun rise through the dust cloud being left in the ­combine’s wake.
