After following the car on I-41 at Military Road in Wisconsin, the driver suddenly swerved his vehicle to the right. Careening the car across two lanes, the vehicle then ploughs straight off the road. It crosses the grass bank between two intersections, then speeds up the small road-side ditch, going so quickly it becomes airborne. The car is then seen making a crash landing on the other side of the road. The video then cuts to body-worn footage of police swiftly approaching the driver. The man had attempted to continue evading cops after his moment in the air. Most read in The Sun After abandoning the crashed car, he had attempted to flee across an empty field of land on foot. Officers had tasers ready to fire as the chase continued on foot before they arrested him. The chaotic scene unfolded in Kenosha County on May 9. According to Wisconsin State Patrol, the officers had been in pursuit of the car after a trooper called for backup. There was an active felony warrant out for the vehicle in the county. During a routine traffic stop, the driver had taken off when he saw a Fond du Lac County sheriff’s deputy and another trooper arrive. The man has since been taken into police custody. Comment now
