Janus Films & Criterion Acquire Paul Thomas Anderson’s Cameron Winter Concert Film

'Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall' Janus Films The concert film Paul Thomas Anderson shot at Carnegie Hall last year with Geese frontman Cameron Winter has been acquired by Janus Films and Criterion and will begin a theatrical, 35mm rollout on November 20. Officially titled Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall, the film was shot during Winter’s sold-out solo run at Carnegie Hall in December 2025. Images of Anderson roaming around the concert venue with a large 35mm camera were shared widely on social media sites at the time. Filmmaker Bennie Safdie was also seen lurking at the shows with a camera. The Good Time filmmaker has now been listed as a producer on the project alongside Sara Murphy, Erica Frauman and Maggie Ambrose. Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall will be Anderson’s second music-focused feature. The One Battle After Another filmmaker shot Radiohead musician Jonny Greenwood during a trip to India, and the resulting footage became 2015’s Junun, which was released on Mubi in 2015.
