James Jordan savagely tells Karen Hauer to ‘get over’ Strictly axe after she fell victim to show cull

He brutally claimed Karen should be “happy” she lasted as long as she did on the dance floor. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! “What are my thoughts on that? Get over it! She wasn’t very positive about it initially, was she, from what I read in the papers,” said James in an interview with the Daily Mail. “I always said in my first year on Strictly, take it for as long as it’s there, because there’s always going to be someone younger, fresher, newer” Read more on James Jordan He added: “She should just be very happy that she managed to do 14 years on the show. That’s more than most people before they get asked to leave.” James, who appeared on Strictly from 2006 to 2013, told how dancers coming and going is part of the natural evolution of a long-running series. He said: “The show will keep growing and keep moving on, and they will change the professional dancers. You just have to accept it for what it is. “I still love watching the show. People think that I was upset that I didn’t go back to the show, but it was my time. Meanwhile, Karen, 44, has insisted that she’s happy with her new life after her exit. Despite Strictly being a part of her life for so long, Karen confessed that she doesn’t miss her old job because it was so “intense.” “I have some great memories from Strictly, but do I miss being in it? No. I like having a little less stress and a little bit more time,” Karen told the Daily Mail. “I know the process and I know how hard it is. I love seeing the new trailers and it’s great seeing that energy, but I’m loving my time now. I feel very positive.” Swiftly after being cut from the pro line-up, Karen wasted no time in finding new work and is currently starring in the touring production of Stepping Out, in the role of dance teacher Mavis.
