Jai Raj Ispat sets 1,801-tonne single-day blast furnace production record

Jai Raj Ispat Limited has established a new operational benchmark by achieving its highest single-day blast furnace production of 1,801 tonnes, alongside a record productivity rate of 4.74 MT/m³.The achievement surpassed the production record set just one day earlier, when the facility recorded an output of 1,750 tonnes with a productivity of 4.61 MT/m³. By surpassing its own benchmark within 24 hours, Jai Raj Ispat demonstrated an overnight output increase of 51 tonnes and a productivity improvement of 0.13 MT/m³, a press release by the company said.Blast furnace productivity, which measures output in relation to the furnace’s working volume, serves as a critical indicator of operational efficiency. This simultaneous and rapid increase in both output and productivity underscores the plant’s optimised performance capabilities and the organisation’s relentless focus on continuous improvement.“This milestone is the result of consistent effort by every member of the Jai Raj Ispat family.
