I’ve tried hundreds of beauty products and this £25 viral Rhode buy is worth every penny

RHODE is one of the most talked-about names in the beauty world, and Hailey Bieber’s pocket bronzer is taking the brand to new heights. The newest summer collection racked up 700,000 sign-ups for its waitlist (a record for Rhode), and I can confirm the viral products live up to the hype. I tested Rhode’s newest viral products Rhode Pocket Bronze, £25 Hailey Bieber launched Rhode back in 2022, and every product drop since has been an immediate hit. Sign up for the Fabulous newsletter Thank you! Rhode doesn’t break the internet purely because of on-point marketing, the products actually deliver with science-backed formulas. Following the success of Rhode’s Pocket Blush, the new collection features the Pocket Bronze. It has a creamy, easy-to-blend texture that glides across the skin to give a warm glow. Rhode Pocket Bronzer: Quickfire Q&A How much is it? The viral Pocket Bronze is £25 on the Rhode website, and can be picked up for the same price at Sephora. Who’s it best for? Beauty fans with dry skin, those who like their make-up to feel weightless, those looking for a sun-kissed glow all year. What we loved: The velvety consistency blends effortlessly, buildable, inclusive shades, cute packaging. What we didn’t love: It’s quite expensive for the size (although I can see it lasting me several months). The formula is buildable depending on whether you preferred a sunkissed glow or defined sculpting. Even if I apply too much, the velvety consistency is easy to work with, blending nicely without sharp lines. I have dry skin, so powdered bronzers can sometimes look cakey throughout the day, but this layers perfectly with other make-up. Most read in Fabulous The bronzer is great for adding definition Rhode Pocket Bronze, £25 Rhode’s Pocket Bronze is one of the best I’ve tried, and I love that it comes in eight inclusive shades. After applying the product to my cheek bones and forehead, my face looked more defined and lifted. As someone who tries new beauty products on the daily, I truly didn’t think it could be as good as everyone said, but I was wrong. Everybody knows about the iconic Peptide Lip Tints by now (thanks to Hailey Bieber’s genius lip balm phone case), but the summer collection saw the release of three new shades. Eight of the 11 flattering shades are still in stock Rhode Peptide Lip Tint, £20 Glossy lip balms are my ride-or-die make-up product, and my collection is constantly growing (read about my new favourite £10 Rimmel lip balm). I tried the Macadamia Butter (a soft caramel brown), and I’m truly obsessed. Not only does it feel hydrating on the lips, it smells incredible. All of the lip balms have an ultra-glossy finish that doesn’t feel sticky, formulated with amino acids to plump and nourish the lips. I’m not the only one to adore the limited-edition shade (as it’s currently sold out), but the OG versions are all still in stock. The verdict Hailey Bieber has done it again with Rhode's summer collection, truly living up to its viral status. The Pocket Bronze has an easy-to-blend consistency that isn’t drying, feeling weightless on the skin (perfect for summer make-up looks). I’m also obsessed with Rhode’s Peptide Lip Tint, and while the limited-edition versions are out of stock, I’ll be picking up some of the hero shades.
