LEWIS HAMILTON crashed out at the end of final practice at the Belgian Grand Prix. The seven-time world champion left Ferrari with a race against the clock to be ready for qualifying later in the afternoon at 3pm BST. Hamilton said to his race engineer over the team radio: “I’ve destroyed the car mate, “I’m sorry.” Hamilton finished the session fifth fastest, ahead of his teammate Charles Leclerc. The seven-time world champion finished third in the British Grand Prix last time out, leaving him third in the standings, 32 points behind table-topper Kimi Antonelli. Antonelli was the man to beat in FP3 in Belgium with a blistering lap time, 0.139 seconds quicker than Lando Norris.
