'I've always wanted to prove myself' - Shankland not feeling pressure at Rangers

Lawrence Shankland does not feel "too much pressure" to establish himself at Rangers as he has "always wanted to prove myself".Shankland joined Rangers from Hearts in May before representing Scotland at the World Cup.The 30-year-old is third on the Scottish Premiership's all-time scorers list with 80 across his spells at Aberdeen, Dundee United and Hearts - 12 short of former Celtic and Dundee forward Leigh Griffiths and James Tavernier, who has just left Rangers."I don't actually feel too much pressure," Shankland told assembled media in Spain, where Rangers are having a pre-season training camp."Obviously, when you go everywhere and you get a fresh start, you need to get yourself, try and make yourself the first name on the team sheet and that's what I'm going to try and do here as well. Nothing changes with that approach."I've always wanted to prove myself."I want to make the most of every opportunity I get.
