ITV star claims husband ‘racked up’ credit card debt leaving her ‘trapped’ after announcing end of her marriage

AN ITV star has claimed that her husband ‘racked up’ credit card debt leaving her ‘trapped’. The Yorkshire Forager, who appears regularly on James Martin‘s Saturday Kitchen, revealed last week she is heading for divorce after only getting wed last year. It starts where you think. “You know, you pay your own way and I’m a big believer in that. You know, money coming in. I was doing doing quite well and I’ll buy the shopping. You go sit yourself down, just give me a card, and I’ll pay for it’. “And then later on you’re like ‘Have you got my card?’, ‘Oh yeah, it’s in the other pocket’. And then you forget about it don’t you? “And then before you know it this There’s a £600 computer chip gone on for a tractor. Most read in TV “And all of a sudden everything’s being racked up. “And you get your credit rating trashed, and you know what? Then you’re trapped.” Revealing what had happened to cause her split last week, the star, who hasn’t revealed the identity of her husband, only that he is a farmer, said: “I’m a big believer in love, marriage, everything. “But I just got taken for a ride. Got all the money taken from me. “Everything. Absolutely everything. It’s been a struggle. “Absolute struggle these last eight, nine months. I didn’t expect it.” Alysia then admitted: “I feel a bit embarrassed by it all, but it is what it is.” Her sad posts about the breakdown of her marriage comes just a year and a half after she announced live on Saturday Kitchen she had got wed. In February 2025, the excited star revealed she would be going by her new married surname of “Greenwood”. Host James said at the time: “I am not going to get the hang of this.
