AN ITV reality TV couple have confirmed they are engaged – three years after meeting on a dating show. My Mum, Your Dad, aired on ITV for two series before sadly being cancelled. They have gone from strength to strength ever since their series aired in 2023 and on Friday, they took to Instagram to reveal Roger had popped the question. Sign up for the TV newsletter Thank you! The show, which was hosted by Davina McCall, saw the parents live in a gorgeous home while their children secretly watched – and played match-maker – from a second location. Roger’s daughter Jess had put his dad forward after he became a widower when his first wife – and her mum – passed away a couple of years before filming. Meanwhile Janey went on the show with her son Will. Most read in TV Their engagement comes just a couple of weeks after Janey was rushed to hospital with a life threatening condition. She was diagnosed with a ruptured appendix which had resulted in a nasty infection. She said on Instagram: “They did a CT scan straight away and found my appendix had blown and needed surgery asap. “I was in hospital for a week as the infection had filled my stomach.” Comment now
