ISS Files Suit to Block Oklahoma’s Anti-ESG Proxy Advisory Law

A global shareholder advisory firm has sued to block an Oklahoma law requiring proxy advisory firms to justify recommendations against company management on shareholder votes. The lawsuit comes as courts in Texas, Kansas and Indiana have already blocked similar laws, and as Oklahoma's treasurer directs a review of how state pension systems have been voting.
