Israeli troops unleash 'violent explosions' in south Lebanon

Israeli forces carried out "violent explosions" overnight in the southern Lebanese towns of Yahmar al-Shaqif, located near the strategic Beaufort Castle, Arnoun and Kfar Tebnit, the National News Agency reported. According to state media, the blasts were heard across the south, with shock waves felt as far as al-Kharrub and Khalde. Later on Friday morning, Israeli forces demolished and destroyed a number of caves and houses in the vicinity of the towns of Mansouri and Majdal Zoun, in southern Lebanon's Tyre. Mansouri also faced Israeli shelling, with other parts of the south reporting the sound of enemy tanks.
