Two elderly Palestinian sisters were injured after being attacked by Israeli settlers while picking figs from their land in the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, Wafa news agency reported Local sources told Wafa that the settlers brutally attacked the sisters, Mona and Alia Mahmoud Hamed, aged 75 and 65, before stealing their mobile phones and the keys to their vehicle. According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and settlers have carried out 2,256 attacks against Palestinians, their lands, and their properties in July. Israeli forces were responsible for 1,458 of these attacks, while setters carried out 798. Meanwhile, six Palestinians who suffered suffocation on Saturday evening after inhaling toxic tear gas fired by Israeli forces during a raid on al-Fara'a refugee camp, in the occupied West Bank province of Tubas, were treated by the Palestinian Red Crescent Society.
